October Tarot Scopes for 2016!

It is obvious, from the card pulls, that everyone is reorienting after Mercury stationed direct on September 22nd. So many of the messages for everyone appear to revolve around balance and authenticity.

I have decided to make some small changes to my Tarot Scope format, I hope you like them! As always, may October bring you astounding gifts of truth and grace.

​Libra—6 of Cups

6 of Cups is a joyful, joyous card that also has a home in nostaligic feelings of childhood and home.

For your birthday, contemplate deeply upon the years that have come before you. What childhood joys have you laid aside? What old friends and family relations, though not close now, were special and significant to you at one time?

This month, honor the parts of you that were, the people who supported and loved the part of you in your unfolding, and perhaps play an old game you once loved. 

​It is so easy to always be future focused, but remembering who we were and also what we loved is a part of that, too.

Scorpio—Knight of Wands

Knight of Wands for me is usually work related projects. 

If you have been contemplating a job change, asking for a promotion, moving forward on a project, or siloing a work enemy--now is the time to act!

The Wands suit is a suit of both creativity and intuitiveness. This is no guessing game; what you need to do next. Your gut has been going on about it for some time, no doubt.

But now, the universal energy is favorable to act. Align what is inside, with what is outside. Do it!

Sagittarius—4 of Cups

The normally decisive Sagittarian is now reconsidering her options. 4 of Cups is often interpreted as "reevaluation" and this is the energy you are being asked to hold in October.

Make no major decisions; allow the ambiguity of weighing your choices with measured calm. Sometimes, the 4 of Cups is also a card of perhaps willfully ignoring a choice.

Is there an option that you do not want to consider? One that is too difficult, too uncomfortable, too much work? That is usually the right choice. Give yourself some space to fully realize and accept what that might be.

Capricorn—6 of Swords

​Walk away. 

Walk away from what is not working. Walk away from the shame of 'losing'. Walk away from what hurts. This is not for you. This is not coming together for you and to continue means to run a fool's errand. 

Where pride seeks to keep us stuck, spirit seeks to untangle us.

Disembark from the illusion. Move on. Yeah, you'll be licking your wound but everyone already knows this is a lost cause. You gain nothing by staying.

​Aquarius—Strength

​The goal this month is to find a way that more closely marries the relationship between your mind, and your body.

Have you been too much in your mind; not taking care of your physical self? Or have you been acting on impulses, rages, passions that conflict with your ideals, morals, and goals?

Whatever is lacking, whatever is missing, whatever needs your attenion-give it. You are only strong when all aspects of you: Mind, Body, and Spirit, are in accordance with one another.

​Pisces—Knight of Pentacles

Knight of Pentacles can often indicate concerns and projects that have to do with real estate and resources.

Have you been hesitating on selling or buying a car or property? Have you been spending blindly out of control, or have no real clue about where your money goes every month?

In October, endeavor to wrestle the beast of your financial life and allow it to work for you rather than against you. Look at your statements, craft a careful plan and invest long term.

Take control.

Take control of your life, take control of your relationships, take control of your financial life, take control of your habits.

The Emperor for you this month means to wield incredible self control over your life down to it is smallest details. Keep a food diary, log your steps, keep a money diary, engage with others and tell them the ways you will or will not dance with them.

​Taurus—King of Pentacles

The King of Pentacles can often mean that you need to hold space for others.

In his leadership role, this King creates the stable ground so that others  may dance upon it. Your family and friends need the pragmatic, honest, realistic advice that only a Taurus can give. King of Pentacles is a very Taurean card, so this energy should feel very at home for you.

Lead by your good example, your calm reactions, and your placid movements. Others will be made peaceful and made refreshed by your presence in their life.

​Gemini—7 of Cups

Oh Gemini, if there was ever an energy-archetype that was Geminian in nature, it would be the 7 of Cups. Denoting living in a fictional universe, you may be spending too much time daydreaming and imagining about a future rather than keeping pace with the one you got. 

It is okay to dream, dear heart, and some of them will be the future you are imagining. But for right now, you have to focus on the task at hand. Do not allow meanderings of your mind to pull you away from what you need to be doing right now.

Cancer—Justice

Mercury retrograde might have had you feeling like you were spinning a little out of control. October, however, has an energy signature that puts you back in the driver's seat of your life.
