Juny '15 Tarotscopes

Venus is in retrograde for all August, going direct on September 6th. You can absolutely see its effects here in the ‘scopes below. Venus in retrograde causes a strange lack of ambition or clarity around relationships, including love. August is also the last bit of quiet before September hits. Go with the flow and enjoy it while it lasts!

 
Leo—Justice
July deals largely with fairness in your life. Have you been taking or being taken advantage of from someone or within a work context? Justice reassures you that things will begin to balance out BUT how it will go for you depends on which side you are on. If there is anything you need to own and amend do it on your terms. If you have been waiting for others to advicate for you, help is on the way.

 
Virgo—4 of Swords
This card simply means rest. The sun will be in your natal area soon so until that energy gets up and humming, take a load off, will you? Take a walk, read a book, sleep more hours, hire a babysitter, you need a little self-care because I have a feeling autumn is going to be very, very busy. Rest up now as you most likely will not get it for some months to come.

 
Libra—6 of Swords
It will be in August that you will finally understand that it is time to leave. What fight have you been holding onto, what massive boulder the size of Texas on your back? You have given yourself the permission, the insight, and finally the strength to heave that boulder off of your back and just leave it be. This will feel like a failure but in the long game: a major success. 

 Rest up now as you most likely will not get it for some months to come.

Scorpio—The Lovers
With the Lovers and Venus in retrograde together creates a tricky environment. My advice is to be attentive and concerning about the ones you love but do not make any major decisions until Venus goes direct on Sept. 6th. The priority is to be gentle with love and with those you love, listen more, attend more, do not do anything rash this month. Avoid breakups or starting any relationships, toe the line and do it with your usual class but don't do anything dramatic.

 
Sagittarius—2 of Cups
The 2 of Cups along combined with a Venus in retrograde is similar to Scorpio's energy this month. Pay attention to your love relationships and if you are not in a love relationship, wait until Sept 6th until actively dating again. Meet people, get numbers but hold off on striking the hammer until Venus moves direct. The trick is to focus on your love but do not do anything to change what is for now. It can be a very sweet time for you so take each day as it comes.

 
Capricorn—6 of Pentacles
A really great card here, Capricorn! Either you will win something: perhaps the lottery, or get a raise! This card usually indicates either a windfall to you or that you will have the resources on hand to help a loved one in need. If I were you, I’d play the lottery.


Aquarius—The Magician
While for many, August appears to be the month of taking things easy, it could not be further from the truth for you! The Magician’s appearance for you this month means that you have to spend a lot of time pulling your plans and dreams together. You cannot, should not, must not delay the work and planning that needs to happen NOW.


Pisces—The Hermit
If you are single then it looks like you will remain so in August which is exactly what we want since Venus is in retrograde. You will also find yourself drawn to perhaps over analyzing your relationships which I caution you from doing until after Sep. 6th. Spend this time learning or deepening your knowledge on something interesting, unusual, or spiritual. Take plenty of “me” time, you really need it. Please do not struggle with lack of friends or lovers this month, you have other fish to fry.

Aries—The Hanged Man
Like so many this month, August is about chilling out before the show begins in September. In fact, I bet you are just chomping at the bit to get started on some projects or to get started with a new chapter in some aspect of your life. Unfortunately, the energy is not there for success in any real meaningful changes. What you CAN do, though, is to go easy on yourself and rest, contemplate, dream, and enjoy the fact that the universe is forcing a break on you. In fact I would push any definitive dates to September if at all possible.

 
Taurus—8 of Swords
Oh my bull, how well (not) have you been taking care of yourself? What is your meditation or spiritual practice like? How are you alleviating anxiety or late night insomnia? Are you walking and eating well? The 8 of Swords indicates that you are struggling with internal conflicts and they are not letting up in August so my advice is to institute some radical spiritual First Aid to get you through this weird hump. Also, if you are considering leaving a relationship, please wait until after Venus goes direct. When Venus is in retrograde we tend to feel muddy and unclear about things, you will feel better and clearer in September so in the meantime, take sweet, sweet care of you!


Gemini—2 of Wands
Busy little bumble bee is over here! August is a whirl of plans, instituting some multi-layered, complicated, interlinking things, people and projects for fall. As a Gemini, this will be hard because you can easily get distracted but the more you do now the better you will thank yourself later. This card just screams a high energy fall for you so be preemptive and proactive, like a girl scout "Always Prepared!"

 

Cancer—3 of Wands
Your sign is one of the few that is more action –based this month. Opportunities will open up and align for you, if you have been looking for a job, a new one may come your way, if you are single and looking, a new person may come into view. August’s energy is expansive and positive so your goal is to meet it by showing up with a smile!
