June Speaks...

As per usual, the effects of the Mercury retrograde is making His presence known throughout the tarotscopes and in particular the signs he has effected: Taurus' native house, Gemini, and other air signs will feel the effects strongly. Sorry, guys! 


Those signs not too effected by the retrograde, however, are doing alright and the signs are replete with new love energy and family ties. Overall a nice month for everyone once Mercury goes direct on June 11th, mark your calendars! 

Gemini—2 of Swords

Mercury retrograde is happening right smack dab in the middle of your natal house. Have you been feeling like things keep breaking, snafu’s abound, and everyone seems to be taking everything the wrong way? Well it is your native planet, Mercury, moonwalking away from you right on your home turf! 2 of Swords is illustrating that action as it is the card of feeling unable to make a decision or moving ahead on a project. There is a feeling of stuckness so the advice here is to take it easy and not fight this very peculiar feeling for a normally flightful Gemini. Mercury goes direct on the 11th but then you are still in the shadow of the effects of the retrograde, I would say hang tight until we move into cancer, on the 21st and go to the beach, that is what I do in June when nothing else seems to be working.

 

Cancer—3 of Swords

I have the feeling here that there is something you have been fighting for; perhaps it is a friendship, a love relationship, a job- and it is not working. This is the month to really acknowledge the loss of a relationship or situation. Do not allow fear of mourning loss keep you from allowing this to end. You have been like one of those acrobats spinning 12 dishes on poles in the air and you cannot keep doing this for much longer. It might just be time to tell yourself to let go and hunker down for the crash, at the very least, know that your empowerment comes from seeing what is and buckling in. Once the plates fall, there is silence and even relief, in that.

 

Leo—Strength

Leo, I have noticed that summer always loves you, as you always seem to get such radiant cards in the summer. Strength is the card of the woman and the lion so it is a card very apropos for you. June is a month where you feel you will win debates, be heard at the office, get your needs met in relationships and all around feel very confident and capable in advocating your needs, and getting them. This is the month to ask for what you want, as you will most likely get it.

 

Virgo—Justice

What is going on in your life where unfairness is an issue at play? June is the month to seek out imbalance and unfairness in your life and make repairs to correct the imbalances. I have a feeling that this is specifically regarding the people in your life who have not been treating you so well of late and Virgo that you are, perhaps you have not been as strident as you could be in claiming a stake in terms of healthy boundaries. Virgos tend to love so completely and give so much and when it is not adequately reciprocated (though deserved) resentment grows. You need to speak up and demand the treatment due you.

 

Libra—Queen of Pentacles

June wants you to be home-oriented. Pick up a summer craft, plant those herbs, invite people over, turn your home base into a summer get away and it will be a great summer for you, Libra. You might want to declutter and buy a bouquet of flowers, this is a Martha Stewart card if I ever saw one. Enjoy the pleasures of living simply and closely with the world. You need some grounding.

 

Scorpio—The Hermit

Well… if you are single you will most likely stay that way in June and if you are coupled up there could be disagreements or just feeling like you are not connecting with your other(s). This card is meant to let you off the hook and not freak out if this happens, the energy is just requesting that you spend some time with you for a while. There are some depths to you that need some exploring. Perhaps a weekend on your own will do the trick! Do I hear weekend get-away for one?

 

Sagittarius—Judgement

June feels like a liminal month for you; there is a sense of some big change in your life but it has not happened just yet, it is like pre-dawn on the horizon, you know it is coming, you are waiting for it but not quite yet. June will mostly be a month of anticipation as some major chapters will be changing and big shifts will be coming into your life, I mean this for your internal life as much as your external. Liminal points are hard for Sag’s who want to get to the point right now. Know that the work you started a long time ago is just about to bloom, how wonderful is that?

 

Capricorn—2 of Cups

2 of Cups means happy experiences in intimacy, whether this be with a romantic interest or a really good friend, June shows you partnering up and going deep with another. If you are single and looking it is a good sign and even if you are in a relationship it means a lovely sweet chapter to enjoy is forthcoming.

 

Aquarius—Temperance

Being an air sign and seeing this card also leads me to believe that you might struggle with the retrograde this month. Temperance is an advice card: slow down, take it easy, temper needs/wants/desires and try to take the middle path of things. If you have been in a frenzy of late this is an excellent card for you. Take stock with what you have and repair, rebuild, recycle June is the month to coalesce what you have rather than beginning something new.

 

Pisces—2 of Pentacles

June will be busy and just a touch chaotic, but absolutely nothing you cannot handle, Pisces, in fact you juggle things quite well being the mutable sign that you are. If you were looking to finalize something or lay something to rest it does not look like June will be the month to do it. Keep dancing, Pisces! Everything is staying in motion and getting definitive answers will be a challenge, avoid trying unless you absolutely have to.

 

Aries—4 of wands

Aries, are you full of family and friends of late? June is a message that family events seem to be on the menu for you and they are happy ones. If there has been domestic strife in the past this definitely feels like the wind is changing in a better direction as everyone remembers how important they really are to one another. Enjoy a nice month with positive interactions with those who mean the most to you!

 

Taurus—The Lovers

The Lovers could signify a spanking brand new relationship, or involvement in a project or hobby that you really love. Do not think too hard about this, though, as the Lovers to me often feels like a gift or an automatic process that will feel largely instinctual. Your job is to just sit back, and enjoy your good fortune with others.
