July 15 Tarotcope

Since I started offering monthly Tarotscopes, I have not yet ever seen so many Pentacles make their appearance! With almost 50% of these ‘scopes containing a pentacle; and pentacles concerning itself with resources, homes, protection, and stability, I wonder if this is the Cancer energy at play. Cancer, while a water element, does crave a stable home and resource situation. Play July lightly, no big spending but rather languid afternoons at home, keep it close to your chest, all of it.


Cancer—10 of Pentacles
Oh boy do Cancers resonate with 10 of Pentacles! This card speaks to sticking close to home, being with family, and shoring up anything that might be vexing you regarding home decoration or repair. If you are looking to buy a house, July might be the month you find your dream home. If you have a home, get some new curtains, freshen things up a bit and invite your loved ones over!


Leo—Page of  Pentacles
In the month of July you are being called to learn something new. Is there a summer hobby you wanted to get into but just have not yet gotten started? This page loves learning new things but those things are practical like gardening, cooking a new dish, or learning to mix a new drink. Crack open that ‘Homes and Gardens’ and create something beautiful.

 

Virgo—5 of Pentacles
July might be a month where you need to reign in your spending habits, Virgo. This card can often mean a sudden lack of resources so make sure that your nest egg is in place and if you have been having a hard time putting money away (yes, I know those shoes ARE on point!!) please refocus because in July you might be sweating it, and I do not mean from the heat! Absolutely do not gamble this month or take any risky bets regarding your finances.

 

Libra—9 of Pentacles
One of my favorite cards, this one speaks to abundance. This month will be a lovely one for you, you have enough and ARE enough because you have worked so dang hard to enjoy the table before you. This card is also a sign to stop and smell the roses, pat yourself on the back for all that you have done this year so far and give yourself some slack to enjoy the fruit of all your labors. This card can also mean someone coming to you in need, and you will be able to help them, yay!

 

Scorpio—8 of Swords
July will have you twisted up in your thinking. Is there a friendship or family situation that you just cannot seem to either extricate, or resolve here? This card is emphasizing that there is just something YOU are not either seeing or doing that is keeping you stuck. I recommend a tarot reading (biased! I know) or just a long talk with an objective friend to help you see what you are not seeing. If you find yourself resisting the feedback you are getting, that means that feedback is accurate and your resistance is the 8 of Swords energy at play.

 

Sagittarius—5 of Swords
July will be a win for you, Sag! I know we talked about June being a liminal point, that you were balanced in stasis and forced to wait. Well, this month means that the situation has tipped in your favor and there is a win. This win will not be without losses and hard feelings, I am afraid to report. The message here is that for now, it is more important to get what you need than to feed the ego of others.

 

Capricorn—Ace of Pentacles
I love when Aces pop up. This Ace can mean a financial windfall: from a large amount to even finding a $20 on the street. It also can mean a promotion or raise. If not financial, I often see this card to also mean becoming pregnant. Any way you slice, something special and helpful will happen this month, hurrah!

 

Aquarius—Queen of Swords
This month requires you to put your thinking cap on, act objectively and be a voice of fairness in your dealings with others. I have a feeling that this card came up because there is a situation that you might just be a little too close to, emotionally, and in order to find a resolution, you need to pull your heart back a bit and look at things from an objective manner. This card can also mean advocacy, so if someone else is being treated unfairly in your life, you are being called to speak up on their behalf. Be the voice of Justice and communication, Aquarius!

 

Pisces—7 of Cups
Interesting but that dancing all over the place quality you felt in June seems to continue. You are being called to dream and think about all the wonderful things you wish to do right now, without much call for you to act on any of it just yet. These long days do allow an expansive feeling, breeding many dreams- some viable and some not- you are being given very special permission to dream those dreams, note them down and when the energy shifts, be prepared to act on them.

 

Aries—Queen of Wands
This Queen often suggests that there are people who need your help and support right now. This Queen lends her creative, enthusiastic energy to everyone, being generous with her time and support. Who in your life might be feeling a little “dead ended” and needs lunch with you to help open up new vistas? This can also be a call for you to finally see the potential, in YOU! This Queen is positive, uplifting, supportive but also fiery so watch your temper!

 

Taurus—King of Cups

The appearance of this King in your monthly reading means taking on his qualities, often to benefit others. This King is gentle, creative, intuitive and observant. Who or what needs your gentle touch right now? What emotions do you need to soothe and what relationships might you need to repair or deepen? July is a month of emotional clarity and creativity, Heal thyself, Taurus! And heal others, they need you.

 

Gemini—6 of Wands
Well, well, well, Mercury goes direct and you have bounced back fine as a fiddle, haven’t you? Geminis are known for their resilience and this is very true regarding your card this month- the card of success. If you have been working on something or challenged by something, this appears to be the month where you finally “win” the struggle. You might find yourself unusually lucky this month and that things that were challenging before seemed to have suddenly shifted to being easy. You do get the easy button this month, enjoy your July!
