I have been unemployed for 4 months.. do you see a job soon ?


Dear Debra,

I pulled 3 cards for you and they were: The Emperor reversed, Ace of Wands, and 6 of Cups. These cards indicate that yes, you will get a job within the next 3 months but it will be at a lower standing than you once had. The Ace indicated a possible career field change as that typifies landing a new job but in something totally new for you, so definitely broaden horizons in your job search. Finally, the 6 of cups does indicate a possible hire and from someone who might be connected to your family or someone you knew in childhood. It could be they hire you or give you the tip that leads you to being hired, best wishes!

Being a single mother, I made the decision to relocate so that we could qualify for state residency and in-state tuition. However, after I've applied for hundreds of jobs and went on countless interviews, I sit here without a source of income and am unsure of how much longer I can go on like this.  My question is:  Did I make the right decision and if so, will things soon turn for the positive?

Thinking about your precarious though heart-centered situation I pulled the following cards for you: 9 of Cups, The Lovers, and 8 of Wands reversed. I feel like you know you made the right decision and so now you just need to stick with it in this moment of stress and worry. Your child seems to have loved the move and I do believe that ultimately, the move will be good for you, too. The reversal in the last position does indicate that the energy just isn't shifting yet for the next 3 months to be what you you ultimately want so now is the time to apply to jobs that are not ones you normally would to keep things afloat until they do. A few years down the line I believe you will be quite happy with your situation overall but it looks like one more season of struggle.

I pulled these three cards in concern with your question: 4 of Cups, King of Pentacles, and Ace of Cups. While the question is very broad and the reading is quite small I will talk in thematic terms, The King indicates a year of continued financial stabilization and even growth as well as stable working environments and the Ace of Cups could indicate a new love interest or a deepening of the  one you have. Despite these wonderful portents you feel restless as evidenced by the 4 of cups. In short, 2015 feels like a place-holder year, no major changes but rather steady positive improvements overall.
