June Issue One:

Querent #1 Courtney

My family and I have been struggling with financial matters for the last year and a half as my husband took a new job he thought would bring us better security.  Will this get better or should we be looking for other opportunities?  Help

Dear Courtney,

The three cards I pulled for you are 8/Cups, Knight/Wands, and finally two/swords. It looks like you packed everything up and made a big move into the wild unknown on a hope, and that hope has not panned out like you wished.


 The cards are suggesting to look into  another position that may be better than this one or to even take up another part time job to ease what feels very constraining. The 2/swords indicates that there are some options on the table, but not what you were wanting or hoping for. I would say look for other opportunities and look for them in places you originally thought wouldn’t work, there seems to be something there that could work if you are willing.

Dear Jenna,

If I buy my rental in Gatineau, will I be happy there or should I purchase new in Ottawa. Should I continue to rent? I need clarity. Thankyou

Dear Kathy,

The three cards I pulled for you are the  Page/Wands, 8/Cups, and finally, the 10/Pentacles. This run seems to suggest that you will be happiest in the place that is new. The page is an adventurer and 8/cups means leaving what is (and possibly not working) to stretch ye olde legs into the wild unknown. 


This tells me that buying a new home is in your best interest and you will find one you love!

Querent #3 Tim

Will the mother of my son and I ever get to a place where we get along?

Dear Tim,

The cards I pulled for your situation are: Death, Judgement, and 7 of Pentacles. I feel like the advice is tied to a money and/or resource issue and that there is a frustration about the availability of resources re your child. 


I sense that once you two can better clarify from a resource or a financial standpoint how you are both contributing and what is fair, then I do think the relationship will improve. I do not get a sense that this will happen anytime soon, though; hurt feelings need time to heal.
