Hanson-Roberts Tarot
7/Cups concerns itself with creating dreams, fantasies and nightmares put together by our imaginative mind. Sometimes, we react to the imagined state rather than the reality of the present moment. Do you ever find yourself recreating an argument you had, say last night, and imagining what you would've said instead? Have you ever noticed that imagining what happened in the past actually makes you feel anger, sadness and regret in the present moment, there you are at a lovely calm breakfast getting angry all over again! Thinking about the future, like a dentist visit or a test result, our stomach might drop in dread, emotionally reacting to something that does not exist yet, if ever. That monkey mind of ours takes us away from the usually calm and centered moment of now. The more now centered, the more mindful, rather than mind-full we can become, the greater peace we can achieve. 1. I often worry obsessively about the following things... 2. Sometimes I relive a moment and realize that I feel the following things... 3. My mindfulness practice is... I intend to become more mindful and now focused by doing. 4. I am sitting in this moment and this is what I am experiencing, feeling and seeing.

Yes! I do this all the time. Great connection of a "stat of worry" to the Seven of Cups. Very true that we have to really be present in the NOW. Blessed Be.
