People say that I make reading tarot look easy
And it can be...
It feels marvelously organic when we are not fighting ourselves when we learn to sense the flow of a reading and go with it. There is a *feel* to reading tarot that comes when you ease into being the conduit of the message. In that space, that is where you get your 'tarot chops'. This is not about reading like me. In fact, I want you to read MORE like you: a fluid, natural, easy, and confident way of reading tarot so that it is second nature - your nature. |
As someone totally new to tarot, this feels like the best foundation I could possibly have. No longer feeling like I'm just guessing, but instead I feel like I'm understanding the messages coming through. And the court cards work has been invaluable. --Jeni M.
Anxiety can keep readers from their true gifts
What if I am wrong? What if this doesn't work? What if I am judged? Maybe I'm just not that good...
Lack of confidence and fear block us from grabbing those intuitive impressions and creates a barrier to our relationship to tarot.
This is 'public enemy #1' and the focus of my course: to get you reading fluently, anxiety-free.
When your focus is less on performance and more on action, you will find that you know far more than you think, and far more talented than you realized.
Together, we work on fluency (the art of reading) at the same time as grammar (the linear techniques of reading tarot).

A great course! I found it challenging, illuminating, and expansive . What I most enjoyed was the unique approach and the original content. It appeared to be 30+ years of accumulated experiential knowledge of Tarot and Psychic utilization, intelligently coalesced and polished by a well trained academic mind, into a digestible six hours of class work (with supporting documents and activities). -- Jason C.
traditional learning methods aren't for everyone
We might feel overwhelmed with all the rules about tarot: always looking for the most correct way to read.
Or, that we should be following a tradition that could feel overwhelming and not necessarily uniquely tailored to you. But, tarot is a living practice - that means that it changes with time, just like language. Just like you! |
This class forever changed the way I think of tarot and how to read it. I look forward to doing some of the homework again and again over the next weeks and months. Thank you, Jenna, and everyone who spoke and shared in the community for making the class so worthwhile. -- Julie W.
centering *you* is the most important thing
My class offers an organic, intuitive, and healing way to confidently read tarot.
One a little more innately natural without sacrificing traditional meanings, or legacy ways to read.
Let me help you find and hone your "tarot voice": uniquely you, incredibly gifted, and second nature.
For all levels of tarot skill and competencies. (You might even gain/grow some psychic abilities, too!)

A course to maximize intuition and minimize anxiety...
Welcome to my seminal class, one I've been thinking a lot about and the first live class I've taught in nearly two years!
One that highly influenced my new book, Will You Give Me A Reading?
This is not going to be your average tarot class and is a totally unique and fun departure from more traditional methods of learning to read tarot.
In all tarot readings, there are three forces at play:
The reading (which of course you are familiar with), the writing (who is the writer?), and the speaking (how you take that divine message from the Writer and speak it into this world).
This class focuses on the speaking part as much as the reading part while seeing the writing part in a new way.
To read tarot, we must learn to speak tarot. The very act of speaking is an ancient divination tradition-one that you are being called to follow.
Instead of getting frozen when we do not understand what the tarot is saying, I will provision you with a ton of tools and techniques so that each reading flows while using all of your natural (and supernatural) talents!

I learned so much from this and it has fundamentally changed the way I approach readings. -- Julie W
Maybe you're asking yourself, is this for me?
- Are you an atypical learner and prefer a hands-on approach?
- Do you find that you need a balance between structure and freedom as a learner?
- Do you get anxiety when learning new things or a class environment?
- Does the Celtic Cross (or any traditional spread) overwhelm you?
- Do you watch other readers and wonder how they make it look so easy?
- Do reversals and clarifying cards make everything feel so confusing?
- Do you struggle with pulling together meaning for yourself and want to read for others but are worried about being wrong?
- Have you attained a certain level of proficiency but feel stuck about your progress or looking for new techniques to deepen your work with tarot?
- Did you just unwrap your deck and are like, now what?
- Have you gotten a reading from me, or watched me work, and liked my approach?
Workshop Layout
Each live online workshop will have a combination of the following:
- Teaching/Lecture/Offering with PowerPoints or relevant handouts
- Example Reading with me and a querent (someone not from class but rather an outside querent so you can watch my technique in real-time)
- Hands-On Activity
- Q & A
- Workbook of activities, reading, and activities
Syllabus Details
Workshop One: 101 Crash Course and Refresher --
Workshop one covers my Quick Start Method to use logic and intuition to build fluent and accurate readings. Also included are best practices approaches to learn/deepen tarot in a way that is anxiety free. Plus, I outline what makes for a great reader (hint - it's not just about reading tarot.) Even pro readers will learn something new in workshop one!
Workshop Two: Setting the Stage for Extremely Clear Readings --
Set and setting are incredibly important for getting the clarity we are looking for. Learn how to listen for the 'right question' and use my 'thin-slice' technique to be able to parse complicated situations easily and deeply. Also, gain the information you need to understand what kind of tarot reader you are: your approach, your philosophy, and your style in a way that hones your gifts and talents into an incredible practice.
Homework practice will be included.
Workshop Three: Reading in Layers Part 1 --
Instead of focusing on the number of cards, I focus on layers of meaning and insight you apply to the cards you have. This is part one of my 12-step process where we focus on building our psychic fluency while holding in traditional meanings.
Homework reading will be included to prepare you for the next workshop.
Workshop Four: Reading in Layers Part 2 --
We will now add the final layers in my layered reading technique with plenty of example readings in class that we will do together until you've got this technique nailed down pat (yes, even you new readers!)
Homework will include personality assessment quiz and practice
Workshop Five: Royal Pains in the Deck --
Court cards are the most important cards in the deck for me. I will give you a very easy guide to mastering the personality types of each court card plus an at-a-glance system for each 16 types. Then, we will cover the hardest aspects of court cards: when to know if they represent a person, an action, or a psychological state with my super fast process to figuring that out.
Homework: A writing activity to help you see the court cards as full, complete people.
Workshop Six: Why The Reading Went Wrong --
We will finish up with practicing what we've learned thus far, time for Q&A, and also tackling what to do when reading is wrong or seems off. If we have time, I will include a guided activity that you can use to tackle any inner-critic issues that may be interfering with your ability to read tarot confidently.

I'm uniquiely qualified to make this slap
I show up for you bringing with me my best practices from earlier work such as coteaching for a world-class tarot retreat at the Omega Institute with Mary Greer.
By bringing to you a deeper practice from my book, Will You Give Me A Reading , and the skills and techniques that awarded me, Spiritual Guru, in 2019 by Philadelphia magazine. No fly-by-night social media personality around here! I have a long record of teaching tarot. |
Here's My approach and style to teaching
I know how to teach language, and tarot is a language: Before I went full-time pro one I taught ESL while living overseas (China, South Korea, and Turkey).
I know my way around a tarot deck: I started reading in 1990 easily conducting well over 10,000 readings. You can get a bit of my approach by watching how I combine two-card readings on TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram
I am psychic: I was psychic before I learned tarot. I can help you identify and find that part (and strengthen it) in you, too.
I am academic: I love tarot history and use it to inform the way that I read and teach. My book, Will You Give Me A Reading, is well-researched for best practices (and is a huge foundational element of this course.)
I am innovative: One of my talents is to find new ways to do things. You can see that in my blog or Medium account where I think of reading tarot in new ways.
I am encouraging and supportive: The Queen of Wands is my Queen. I am warm, funny, engaging, and most of all I AM HERE FOR YOU! Here's a little bit more about me if you're curious.

FAQ
I am totally new, is this really for me?
A: Honestly you might do better than a traditional reader as there is no earlier technique that you have to unlearn.
I am a pro reader, is this for me?
What this course will help you with is to hone your technique and approach specifically as a reader for others.
I can't make the class times, will the recording experience be as good?
I believe that nothing can beat in person live sessions but not everyone learns best that way! I am always available by email or chat for any questions you have regarding the material or homework if you cannot make the class.
