Psst. Hey, have you pre-ordered my book, out this november?
Learn how to confidently deliver tarot readings that leave you energized and querents clamoring for more. Tarot professional Jenna Matlin gives you extensive guidance on how to not only give helpful and accurate readings to others, but also ensure that you're not punished for being the bearer of bad news. Reading for others means opening yourself up to a new world of challenges and opportunities, and this book shows you how to navigate them. You'll learn what to do when a reading goes wrong, how to ask the right questions, why the court cards are difficult to interpret, and how to build resilience in yourself. Featuring insightful anecdotes, advice on controlling the flow of your readings, and more, this book is a must-have for anyone who is asked, "Will you give me a reading?" |
Step by Step Process for this activity
Step One: Get into 8 groups with a court card assignment
Step Two: In Your Group use the word clouds (or not, your choice) to create the perfect Tarot Tinder profile. You need to make two copies: one for you to keep and one to be given to your match.
Step Three: Once your match is made, you will get a copy of your matches' Tinder profile. Once you have that, in discussion with your group, fill out the Tarot Tinder Relationship Profile, make two copies: one for your group and one for your match. Now, remember that you are writing your relationship profile from the perspective of the court card you've been assigned to.
Step Four: Get your matches' relationship profile and compare/contract the differences. Sit back in wonder because tarot is the most awesome thing in the Universe.

*A Note On Gender
Deciding to use traditional gender identities of the court card is a personal choice of the reader. Personally, I like to use elemental combinations to help me best understand the intent of each court card when deciding not to rely on traditional sources.
Below I have collated a list of Queen and King titles by other tarot deck creators who have chosen not to go with a gendered system. Perhaps they might inspire you!
